Fleeman's U-Pick Blueberries
The blueberry is often called a miracle fruit.  Although it is small, it is packed with nutrition.  According to Prevention Magazine,  the blueberry is the miracle berry that keeps you young.  There is evidence that blueberries can actually reverse the loss of short-term memory that happens as we age.  But that is not all.  In Japan, blueberries are known as the "vision" fruit because they help to boost night vision.  Research has shown that 1/2 cup of blueberries has the same level of antioxidnts as 2 1/4 cups of broccoli.  In fact, the blueberry has emerged as the number one source of antioxidnts among fresh fruits and vegetable.
Blueberries are versatile and can be used in salads, breads, pies and cakes, beverages and frozen treats, jams and jellies, sauces and in main dishes, or eat them just as they are.  They freeze beautifully for later use.
